Welcome to the Technology Transfer Partners (TTP)
The TTP is an international group of individuals from educational and research institutions that use Micro Focus, NetIQ and SUSE solutions in their workplace. Membership in the TTP is free of charge. Joining the group requires only that the new member sign a non-disclosure agreement between themselves and the companies involved. (The NDA also protects the privacy of exchanges in our forums.)

What Is the TTP?
The TTP was started in the mid-1980s with three universities whose goal was to share their networking experiences among themselves, and with the company, in order to leverage the knowledge of their diverse computing environments, and to give feedback to product teams. It has now grown to be a comprehensive group of thousands of experienced education customers who share information with each other, the software developers and groups within the company. TTP members have considerable input into the company software development processes.
You can read more about the TTP, its governance, and its goals by visiting the About Us page.
Using This Site
This site brings together technical documents, articles and white papers, news, archived presentations, event information, and much more, all in a searchable format. Some of the content on the site is protected by the non-disclosure agreement TTP members sign, so access to those areas requires a login. Note that search results will only show publicly available information unless you are logged in. (If you aren't a member yet, why not join? It's free!)
The TTP currently has two email discussion lists, one for Higher Ed members, and one for K12 members. The lists, for members only, cover a wide range of topics of interest to the community. The mailing lists are outstanding sources of help and allow members to help others and share their experiences. In the near future the TTP will move its mailing lists to a new Forum based system which will enhance the user experience.
The TTP has three annual week-long conferences: TTP US, TTP EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), and TTP APAC (Asia-Pacific). The conferences are all free. There are technical discussions, product updates, vendor presentations, and best of all, invaluable opportunities to talk with your fellow knowledgeable TTP members.
The TTP provides lunch and dinner, and there are scheduled entertainments every night of the conference. We work hard, we play hard: See for yourself!
Conferences are often preceded by one- or two-day intensive hands-on workshops that do have fees, should a member choose to participate. (Many people find these workshops to be one of the best parts of the conference.)
Presentations from past conferences are archived on this site, available for perusal by all TTP members.
Did we mention it's free? Please see our information about joining the TTP group.
